She were a National Airlines bird when I had my way with her. Couple thoughts on the topic: Easy to fly hands on, but from a systems perspective complex. Lots of power, fast and when the gear touches down your ass is still 75' in the air. Once you get one pointed somewhere they didn't exactly display the agility of a Spad if you changed your mind.

When McDonald merged with Douglas they took the concept to its zenith with the MD11. Max gross weight takeoff and could fly circles around a Lear or Gulfstream in climb or level flight. Awesome aircraft that.

This was back in a mythical time when stews were all chicks and they were Hot. When men were steel and ships were wood.

Something is going to die in 2013, either a mountain goat, a sheep, a moose or a caribou. Oh, and a pile of wolves. It's up to the drawing which ones get killed. I'm hoping for the sheep.

Somewhere in America a liberal will expire today. Is this the land of opportunity or what?

Hope it's none of you f-tards! Lost too many kin in these parts in 2012. My dad and the wife's in last 74 days. Lotta the greatest generation.

I meant critters. I really hope I don't lose any friends or family in 2013. Lost one of my best friends in 2012 in a hunting accident. I still miss that guy.

Haven't shot one yet, too much work to flesh the dang things. Otter and my goat were bad enough.
