How does the light work when on ia mode? I see it just lights up red a little. I have it mounted w an aimpoint comp m2. I know I need a night vision monucular for true nv but just curious.
The light operates at the outside edge of the visual light spectrum, so yeah, about all you will see without night vision is a bit of red, and feel the heat from the light when it's on.
