You could see it a tad better in person. He was a good little dog for sure. When my wife shot that gemsbok, it took off and we had to track it. Dog was out front for awhile then came running back with this jackal on his azz...I literally had to kick the thing off of him as I didnt want to make the noise of shooting. Jackal went away, we got the gemsbok, and the jackal had followed us to have another go at the dog. Thats when he got the 175 RN solid

Just got my Sceery Cottontail Distress call in the mail. Hit it a few times and both the dogs came a running. Like the sound, seems promising. It's a good size too, nice and compact - no reason to not have it with me when I've got a rifle.

I got my Talleys in for my son's ne (to us) Model Seven XCR and mounted an old Bushnell Elite 4200 4-16x40 on it so I can do a little shooting this weekend and hopefully do my load testing over the chrony. Rifle weighs 7.4 pounds with rings and that heavy scope mounted, so it should be under 7 pounds easy with and Edge and a lighter scope.
Edge got ordered on 12/31, haven't made any decisions on a scope yet. Thinking a Trijicon 3-9x40 amber mil-dot will end up there eventually. I've been thinking of getting one for my little model Seven as well. My son may have to hunt with the 4-16 4200 next season...

I just prepped a bunch of brass. I never really enjoyed that part of reloading but it's a good way to kill and afternoon. I smell like case lube. Chicks dig it. One Shot? I could use it for deoderant if it attracts. That or RCBS. Bein' the RCBS is water soluble you can get good coverage in the shower after you rinse by putting some on the washcloth....head to toe and all points in between. BD
