The picture isn't the best, but I didn't feel like doing a bunch of photo work after getting home. The rifle is a CZ 452 with an 8-32x44 Mueller scope. Targets were shot at 50 yd. 25 rd groups are the right target on all five sheets. Top left - Federal 711B Bottom Left - CCI Std Velocity Top Right - Fiocchi SM320 Middle Right - Win T22 Bottom Right - CCI Green Tag The right side targets show 25 shot groups formed when I was conditioning the barrel. Next, I shot 5 - 5 shot groups and averaged them. In total, 50 rounds of five brands each for a total of 250 rds. Best to worst 25 shot groups @ 50 yd. (25 shots in a row at the target) CCI Std Velocity - 0.69 inches Fiocchi SM320 - 0.77 inches CCI Green Tag - 0.87 inches Federal 711B - 1.31 inches Win T22 - 0.1.60 inches Best to worst 5x5 shot group averages @ 50 yd. (Five 5 shot groups averaged - total 25 shots) CCI Green Tag - 0.38 inches Fiocchi SM320 - 0.43 inches CCI Std Velocity - 0.52 inches Federal 711B - 0.68 inches Win T22 - 0.95 inches --- I will be shooting SK Magazine, Rifle Match and Std Plus as well as Eley Tenex sometime before the spring. What a beautiful morning! Nothing but sunshine and melting snow. It reminded me of a warm spring day. I got to the range and there was one other guy shooting. He left after half an hour and I had the place to myself for almost three hours. . . This last photo shows the baffles that they installed to stop us from shooting over the berms.

Looks like you had a fun day Steve,I am impressed with these groups. My norinco knock off won't keep up to the CZ's (or at least I'll blame the gun eh)

I'm hoping that the SK stuff shoots as well or better.
My rifle really didn't like the T22s. The most aggravating thing about them was their constant failure to extract. I was worried that the extractor was broken at first!

I tried the T22's in my old marlin 25n and I had the same extraction problems, never tried them in this gun yet. I find the Sk match out perform everything but the cci green tags so far.

Gotta love those CZs. Buddy has one of the training rifles, he says it's the mosy accurate .22, he's ever had.

Mine's stupid accurate with everything I put in it. Highly recommend the trigger kit from the big auction site if you haven't done so already. Helped mine a bunch.

Rog; I hope that this finds you doing well this cool morning. We were supposed to be heading for the deep freeze - for us anyway - this weekend but it's not yet happened.
If you don't mind Rog, can you let me know either via PM or here whichever, where you get SK from?
I'd like to try some out on my old '58 CZ and the Green Mountain barreled 10/22, but the locally available .22 ammo choices are quite limited.
Thanks in advance Rog and have a good weekend.
Dwayne

Dwayne, if you cannot get it locally, try these two places. http://www.targetshootingproducts.com/index.html - Toronto http://www.hirschprecision.com - Nova Scotia I know that they are far from you, but I believe that TSP is the Cdn importer. Best.

Hey Dwayne; I got my Sk match .22 ammo from Mel Koehler he is located in Claresholm Alberta. Sore Shoulder Shooting Supplies (403)625-3973
Or you could try Valley Firearms in Trail BC 1-866-785-2246. I think they carry it too?

I have a CZ452 but it isn't as accurate as the Browning Gold Medallion it replaced. The CZ was purchased based on all the talk about how accurate they were. Unfortunately I was disappointed.

I have the CZ453, my SIL has a 452. They are both frightfully accurate. Mine will cut the staples out of the target with pretty boring regularity. One of these days I am going to try something other than bulk pack ammo and see if it will really shoot.

When I bought the CZ, I wanted an accurate rifle to plink with at the range. The idea of postal matches appealed to me. That feeling went away. Now, I enjoy the solitude of sitting at the bench, attempting to form small holes in paper. It's how I meditate. One day, I'll try shooting some of the bulk box 22LR from Crappy Tire and see how it groups.

Looks like a shooter Steve, good for you.
I bought a 452 a couple of years ago and have had similar results. They really are a nice rifle.

Steve Redgewell,
You mentioned installing a trigger kit in your CZ. Did you acquire it in Ontario, and if so where?

No, I mail ordered it from the US. I don't know if they are available anymore.

Ontario Jim, I put the Yo Dave trigger kit in mine, it works very well. I think he is located in BC. It cost about about $20. http://www.yodaveproducts.com/index.html
