Tried to shoot a LCR yesterday to see what all the fuss was about but they didn't have any. Shot the P22 instead and now I have another want on my list. I'd have never given them a second thought if they didn't make them in the deuce-deuce. Travis

Not as fussy as a Mosquito, but if you want it to work every time, make sure its got a cylinder.... ( I used to be a trained professional 'gun expert'...I know this stuff..  )

A cylinder sure as [bleep] don't guarantee reliability, unless you're strictly addressing feeding issues with different makes of ammo.

{probably some having to do with petrified woodies or how it was possible to shoot nails out of a musket, etc.}

We sold the p22s for the last couple years I was working at the gunshop and they were a constant source of problems. Usually brought on by cheap 'bulk' ammo...

Oh, and I already sold my 66.
Travis Well gee..I just happen to have a 4" 66 I had round butted, rounded, and honed and stoned by an ex-armorer from MHP...smooth as glass..... Might hafta leave it to some deserving soul in my will....

SR22 isn't bad. I have 1000+ through mine without a hitch. P22 and Mosquito are POS. I had both....for less than a month.....
I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!
