Geez FJ..mistaking a SR22 for a p22....
We carried the SR22 the last few months I worked at the shop, and it was good...
The best of the bunch of newer, cheaper ( a relative term now) .22 pistols...

Tanner, I think I'm getting 3200 outta those 162s with a RUM. I'd have to check my records to be sure.
And it is pretty badazz, though I've yet to kill anything with it.

And it is pretty badazz, though I've yet to kill anything with it. That's potent, BGG! I've been poking around the idea for awhile for a 6.5 Gibbs. Guy in town here has had several and has load data. He's getting 3200+ easy (actually in the 3300s, IIRC) with 140's and a 28" tube. Plug that schit into your ballistics program! And all that with a lot less powder and bang.

SR22 isn't bad. I have 1000+ through mine without a hitch. P22 and Mosquito are POS. I had both....for less than a month.....
That I have seen on YouTube and read about....not the [bleep] p22!

162s at that speed have got to be pretty nasty medicine. I've run them at pert near 3100 with Retumbo, but they shoot much nicer at 2950 with 7288ssc.
Is your RUM one of those big stainless/laminated 700s?

I'm always brainstorming schit to do with my actions when the barrels go out, and I've always thought that this 700 Mag face/MIckey Stock would be a nice housing for a 264 Winny. But... the 7's are tough to turn from.

Is your RUM one of those big stainless/laminated 700s? May be more like 3150, can't remember exactly now. SS sendero barreled action in a BDL stock

Picked up a LCR22lr this afternoon. Sweet lil' pistola!
Almost left with a mint 2" Colt Diamondback in 22lr they had layin' in the case. T'was a wee pricy though.
