Tree pruning with choppers was a right of passage for Cav pilots in 'Nam, I weren't special. Helped a fella trim about 30' off the top of a great big phoucin' teak or maybe mahogany not far from Tien Phouc, May 13, 1969. Lasting impression that. Took depot 4 months to fix the chopper. We left it as a pile of burning rubble 3 days after it returned to the unit, or so I recall.
