Ran across this going through some of my stuff recently. It's a late 1980's or early 90's Browning Hat in the Original Mossy Oak Bottomland pattern. The hat is new and has never been worn. This hat sits up in the front somewhat which is common for most hats of that era. It's the kind of cap you likely saw your Dad or Granddad wearing at some point.

No sir, they sure haven't. The new bottomland sure isn't like the old pattern. Can't understand why they don't bring back the old patterns, maybe the newer generation today wouldn't think it was hip enough.

Not that it makes any difference but FYI Mossy Oak Bottomland pattern has no branches/leaves. It is just the plain bark pattern. That hat is Mossy oak Treestand pattern.

Dang! and all this time to think i've been sitting on a gold mine in my collection of hi-lids. i should at least be able to get $50 apiece and they are vintage 70's models with a few treebark styles thrown in.
