I know that it would be terribly inefficient,but I've got plenty. I've used it to fire-form in my .375AI,filled the case and seated a 270 Hornady. There was quite a bit of unburned powder, only got around 1850 fps, but was extremely accurate at 100 yrds. So------ what do ya think about the same proceedure with a 285 gr. cast in the .375 AI, or a 300 gr. cast in a 460 S&W? Just thinking out of the box!!! memtb

I'm not specifically familiar but it sounds like a good idea. Many times slower powders are used with cast in order to keep the pressures down, which in turn is easier on the bullet. 1850 fps sounds like it may be a cast bullet "sweet spot", and hopefully your accuracy will hold with it.
