If you have a loaded rifle leaning on or in a vehicle during season...and I am not talking about holding it...leaning on or in and the Fish cops happen upon you....you will lose your hunting license, be fined big and have to stand before the man....no joke! FJ: I was up in BGGs country for the first time about three years ago, driving around a freind's field, shooting out the windows, drinking beer ( yes...all legal) Got to the edge of his property and saw a SUV coming towards us on the county road, occassionally the driver would stop, stick a rifle out the window and shoot a gopher ( illegal...jifrom a county road..) So we just watched as he progressed towards us, and when he got close enough the SUV materialized into the Sherriffs duty vehicle, with him on the gopher gun...I just looked at my pard and said " I think Im gonna like it here..."  Is there a speed limit in the interstate?

Where do you have it zeroed? And how does the ballistic plex line up?
Travis IIRC, I'm at 50 yards then 75, 100. I've been shooting so much CF recently I haven't wrung out the .22 for a while and I just put the Volquartsen barrel back on late this summer. I had to move the scope to the receiver for the .17 HM2 and then move it back on the Volquartsen (it's got a cantilevered mount). May end up shooting it quite a bit if I can't get .223 brass this spring/summer after the lunacy dies down (if it does). May also have to buy a Trip Duece or TwoFifty for the previous reasons. Still, carrying the 10/22 and the 22/45 ain't exactly slumming it for chucks and Peter cottontail... I'm not sure what that computes in MOA. I was having to come up 8 with a 50yds zero to be dead nuts @ 100. I may try some Burriz Zee's so I can steal some more eleveation out of my scope. It tops outs pretty quick like. Travis
