Hello all. New guy here. I've had a Savage 23AA (.22 long rifle) for many years. My cousin and I used to plink with it in the 60's. It was put into storage shortly thereafter, and someone removed the bolt and clip from it and it is long since lost. Would anyone have an idea where I could find a bolt and clip for this old rifle? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I know Tal35 on here had bolts for your gun but he hasn't been around in a long time.

What the heck?????
That sight looks like a Lyman 53 and 56 had offspring, never seen anything like it before.
That slide looks identical to a Lyman 54 slide off a Savage 1920.

Well guys it's been 2 weeks and I have not received any replies from Tal35 about my inquiry for a bolt for this old rifle.
Does anyone know him or can contact him? How about any other options? Thanks.

He just answered so you should hear from him.
He's busy working so that's a good sign for him!

I have 23a bolt but not any later 23aa. They (23aa) had the speedlock. I sm not sure if they would interchange though.

Might need some 1922 parts in a couple weeks.
Need a .380 barrel to, one of my 1915's ain't feeding right, I think it's the feed ramp in the barrel.

Many years ago I tried an old bolt that I think fit the 23A and it did not fit the 23AA, but I can't be sure. I tried it from a guy on Shotgun News. I wish I could remember back that far (1980's). Maybe it's better that I don't

You may be able to put a speedlock bolt handle on a 23a bolt but not sure. It would be an experiment.
