I have an a-bolt with the dura touch stock. It has become alittle sticky and shows scratches worse than a normal synthetic stock would. I have thought about painting it but tatelaw(roger) has worries that the paint won't stick. Any experience or advice would be appreciated. Either strip the stock and paint or just prime? Or leave it alone. Thanks

I think if it were mine, I'd either contact Browning, or Midwest Gun Works in Pevely, Mo. MGW does a lot of Browning repair work.
I would think that one or the other could offer some valid guidance...

Talked to browning tech and he told me to send it back. The only problem is he wouldn't tell me it was under warranty. Thinking about just painting it. Any ideas
