Gonna speculate in public here. Take a .45-70 case, or if you just gotta go rimless, the .450 Marlin. Neck it down to whatever the phouc gives ya wood and run. Basic case has a little more capacity than the -06, maybe 4-5 grains of water. Shorter, squattier (technical term), no chitt li'l pill warp drive.

Everything under .30 cal is a li'l pill. Hint.

Why'n phouc has nobody ever phouced with the phoucin' .45-70 for wild cattin' is a phoucin' mystery to me. 6.5mm Buffalo Buster. Phoucin' A.

Thank me later.

I've heard only left handed people are in their right mind.

I don't believe it, but I've heard it.

Almost bought a NULA .257 awhile back. Had a hard time communicating with Melvin on some of the particulars. He didn't want to put a 9 twist barrel on it. Dammit. I almost relented, I wanted it so bad. But I didn't. Dammit. Melvin's OK by me, don't misunderstand....he builds some seriously good stuff.
