elky, what do you use that 6-06 on? A 55 gr bullet at that speed has gotta leave a mark.

Yeah, I've got it, but wondering about the truth behind accuracy Issues with pushing the heavies 'too fast'.
i've heard some bullets seem to have velocity 'nodes' where they are more accurate and wondered if it was a waste of time to build something that would push a 75 Amax to 3500 or so.

Kinda moot, right now as I'm about to send in my 'lowly' .223 to get Improved...hooray!

No problems, bro. Like I said, moot at this point. Perhaps this summer I can sell some stuff off and build another scorcher but its a toss up between a hot .22 or a not 6.5.

We are getting that fight here at the hatchery too. One of our seasonal guys is turning 36 tomorrow so I guess it's going to be a party too. These fools will find any reason to throw a party, believe me!

To me the .22-6mm is a easy cartridge to load and make, one pass through the re-sizing die and that is it.

Also wanted a .22-243,but it would be a little slower than the .22-6mm,but not by much.

The camo rifle is a Rem M7 Predator...it has since had a facelift to the rifle you see with the wolf trax.
Ive been shooting deer and antelope with Barnes 50 TTSX or 53 TSX, and just this year I used a garden variety Hornady 55 grainer...deer died just as dead...
