You remember the Flave "Walk on Water" hunt???
Ingwe taught Dave EVERYTHING he knows.
Notice I was much younger in that pic, and was in the process of learning to walk on water, but had not yet perfected it... You mortals can GFY.... I always liked how you called your shot "back in the day". "I Smite Thee" I do realize, however, that saying it 774 times a day before each goph, got too taxing.

BD, what you describe here ain't all that far off the JDJ line of cartridges based on the .444 marlin case. Have some experience with those as we gun contenders up here some. A hunting pard has taken his to Africa a couple of times now....last time he took this.... ![[Linked Image]](http://i775.photobucket.com/albums/yy39/SSB58/IMG_1298.jpg) Used the .375 version and knocked him dowmn with a should shot with a 260gr nosler solid. Required one to the brain for a finisher. The .30 cal version of these really screams...
We eat organic in our house, we just have to shoot and gut it first.....

Arrived in Florida yesterday morn about 11 after a 22 hour drive thru monsoons in 'Bama. This hazy muggy morning sure feels good after leaving a blizzard back in Michigan.
We eat organic in our house, we just have to shoot and gut it first.....

Just curious was the deer on the other side of a river or what. Not much water here to use waders/rubber boots to hunt deer in.  You remember the Flave "Walk on Water" hunt??? Ingwe taught Dave EVERYTHING he knows. Notice I was much younger in that pic, and was in the process of learning to walk on water, but had not yet perfected it... You mortals can GFY.... So have you perfected walking on water yet,or just use a boat or send a younger and less wiser person after the deer. And I'll leave the "I was much younger" comment alone.
