Poobs, it was warm yesterday on the riverbottom but this afternoon up in the hinterland it was downright chilly. And I heard someone shot 68 yotes in one day. And the mailman saw a white wolf. It's crazy up there.
Perfect Spring so far! How the hell do you guys have so many yotes?! I mean Pat has killed a boxcar or more and you guys always have photos of more. Is it the proliferation of gophers and PDs? I'm lucky if I can spot some down here and you guys got em coming out the wazoo. Now, we do have a lot of farms around here so maybe they've been pushed out of the area... Just wish we had your target rich enviro..

We drove about 100 miles of backroads today and didn't see a single one.
Helo covers a chitload of country. Find a pack and it's game over for the yotes.

I gotta travel for them. Closest shooting is about 30 miles. Closest GOOD shooting is 90 miles...but worth the drive time....

Ever see anyone blast wolves out of a super cub airplane? I highly recommend you find a copy of This Is My Alaska. It was shot back before it was a state. They kill stuff according to the seasons, including a polar bear. Frickin sweet.
