I am a huge X-Bolt fan, but I find myself with more rifles than I shoot right now. This is a very nice clean low mileage Browning X-Bolt Varmint Stalker in .243 Winchester. It only shows very slight signs of having been used. The bolt, bore and chamber look new. The barrel on these are 24" long and have a 1-in-10" twist. These are not full bull barrels, but rather medium heavy contour barrels with target crowns. Their weight and balance is much closer to a sporter weight rifle than you would expect. These Dura-Touch Armor Coating Composite stocks are super nice and come with sling swivels. They have textured gripping surfaces and a palm swell. The metal work is a low luster matte blue. Browning glass beds the actions of these at the factory, and these are hand-chambered, too. I love the X-Bolt's 60 degree bolt list, adjustable Feather Trigger, and detachable rotary magazine. I will look at taking a trade in on this rifle. I can trade up or down. I honestly do not need another deer or varmint rifle right now, and I'm pretty good on pistols unless you had a snub-nose .22 Mag or .38 Special like a late model Taurus or Ruger. I could also be talked into a single shot Ruger No. 1 or Winchester/Browning 1885 as long as they weren't a 22 cal or 45-70. Something in-between. Oh and I might trade for a 20 gauge pump shotgun in a turkey/tactical model.
