Walked up behind my house with my wife and dogs to check on elk herds. They hang around my area and eat the spring growth before heading up to higher elevations. Seems certain flowers in Spring coincide with elk and deer in the area Buttercups Stewart Mountains ran into quite a few deer

In a 5 mile radius found four mature cow elk and some does that were killed this past Winter. Looked like some of carcasses were drug a distance. Guessing a mountain lion as I see them in my area sometimes Wife found one killed a month or so ago. Stuffed in a dead fall ivories Managed to find a few sheds too. Heard the grouse drumming everywhere A fine day to be outside
