My buddy has a 20 gauge Remington 1100 LT20 special field he is getting ready to take to the local gun shop to sell. Could someone please tell me what this gun is worth. Gun is in excellent condition. I'd call it 95%. I am trying to get him to sell it on the fire cause someone on here will appreciate it more than the local gun shop owner and will offer a fair price for it. He might just sell on here if any interest. I appreciate all the info.

At 95%, 1100 LT-20 with a vent rib barrel, and fixed choke, in MOD or better IMP CYL, should bring right around $500, with screw in choke(Remchoke) barrel $550 or so..."buyers" would like to find them in the $3-400 range but good ones will bring good money!

I seem to always get rooked selling to a gun shop. I would figure out what I wanted for it, and offer it to the fine folks on the fire.

That's exactly what I'm trying to get him to do. He's friends with the local gun shop owner but I still bet he will low ball him on the gun. I am trying to let him see what value it has if he would sell it to someone who wants it instead of someone who wants to make money off of it.

Guns on Gunbroker will almost always bring whatever fair market value is at the time. Good, accurate pictures and description are a key. It will fetch more there than it would at a local pawn/gun shop.

You'll always do better selling it without going through a shop. He's got to make a profit on it too, or he won't be in business long. His profit is your loss. If he needs the money quick, that's the way to go, but he should have no problem whatsoever selling this quickly here at the fire. These are a very desirable gun.

Awesome gun! Should bring $600 easily, maybe more. I wouldn't sell it if I owned it, but I'd Gunbroker it if I wanted top dollar.

Kinda funny huh, the desirable Special Fields are discontinued in favor of yet another Walmart Special.
