I just mounted a scope on my Baikal 45/70 got the right side zeroed but the left is shooting about 6 inches left and about 4 inches high has anyone had the pleasure of adjusting one of these or am I better just using some Kentucky windage

You can adjust them ,yes, there is a jack screw and windage adjustment on them.
check both barrels again after you have adjusted the left one however, and the right may have changed.
Somewhere in the middle both barrels will shoot with acceptable accuracy....
