Just got back from the first gopher shoot of the year.

It wasnt stellar...

But I did unlimber the .204 for a few dozen kills, and got my 'old school kool' Remington BDL with impressed checkering in a .222 into the act, allowing it to draw its first blood.

I have had worse times.... grin

Is the .204 a Ruger rifle?

Nope...its a Remmy 'build'. Converted a Ti stock from ADL to BDL, screwed on a stainless take off barrel, and gave it a money shot paint job...

Stand by for pic of a kill....

Promised pic of .204

I dont like the gory blow up pics, but this one is about as clean as the .204 leaves them...

That is a SWEET rifle. The Ground Squirrel there is different in color than the ones down here. Next time I kill one I'll post the pic of it.

What are you using in the .204?

I used a 32 grain NBT with RL-10X in the Kimber.

Also owned a .17 Rem,killed one rabbit, lost interest and got rid of it. smile

Gonna give all y'all something to be in awe about.

You may recall I recently picked up my first .17? Yeah, the Zimmer. Been shooting it a little and the phoucin' thing is crazy accurate. It blows lead BBs out the front around 800 fps.

Talking to SPG a couple days back and all doubt about this rifle crossing over to the dark side vanished. He asked if he'd sent the bullet mould with it when it was shipped? Klaxons went off...WTF...bullet mould? I told him it better be a loooong bullet 'cause it has an 8" twist. Mould's on the way, pigs are phouc'd.

Thinkin' that casting .17 bullets might be just funny enough for me. laugh

Not true... I've bangeg a few high 8's. That's the point at which bleeders think that their drama and bitching is an acceptable behavior.

If I ever wound up married again, I'd want a mid six, to low seven. Upper end of "hittable" and lower end of cute. MUCH less drama and bullshit...

I've done some research here... When you meet women that are 9+, in their 30's, and single... There's a good [bleep] reason!
