Critters should like oats, 5 gallon buckets doesn't sound like alot of fun.
Yeah, no beards, cattle love it but you should have it tested for nitrate. High nitrate levels can possibly thin their blood too much so don't want to give 'em a bunch during calving.

Foul day here, +90 and 30-40mph wind, drank about 2 gallons of water.
I thought your winter was finished? When it hits 90F Winter is officially over! Might not get another freeze until this Fall.
