Why did they stop making it?? It was a working mans 275 bullet, cheap and shot like hell out of any 338 rifle. I have read the nay sayers it was good but there is better. Dumb or Dumber I am but I say No. Tell me who makes a 275 338 bullet and this is the KICK>>>>>> whats the price?>> very intro.

Not enough people bought them. Swift makes a 275 gr .338 A-Frame with a price of $61.59 per 50 at Grafs & Sons.

Woodleigh makes a 300 gr at ~$60/50. I am one of the nay sayers and have killed big critters just fine using 185 to 225 gr bullets that sell for as little as $40/50 sometimes less when buying blems, which I do. This from a puny 338-06.

The Speer 275 gr thought it was a target bullet out of my old pre-64.... It also kicked like a .375, FWIW.

Don't know what your going to shoot them at..?
Mine was an elk killer, but I found the 225 Hornaday shot just as well, with less recoil, flatter trajectory and flat killed elk.

The 275gr. Speer was the most accurate bullet in my pre'64 M/70 .338 Magnum. It kicked hard and put game down even harder, never needed a second shot.
