Who do you guys suggest I contact for custom headstamped 9.3x62 brass? How much should a felo expect to pay for a run of a couple of hundred to maybe 1000? Thanks.

I've never heard of the service offered, but I am quite curious. Will await some response

What do you want it to say, besides 9.3 x 62?

I would like it say say ".366 Wagner", and nothing else. A bunch of us on CGN are kicking around the idea of having some brass with that stamp. It is to honour of a man in the Yukon, who is very well liked and respected and who has done much to promote hunting. He is also a fine example on how to live a kind and compassionate life. The 9.3x62 is his "go-to" chambering.

That is good to know. I might see of the Grand Poobah and a few others want to go in on a run of 275 Rigby stamped brass. That is what the Brits called the 7x57 Mauser and sounds MUCH cooler in my view.

That is what the Brits called the 7x57 Mauser and sounds MUCH cooler in my view. There is a company in Germany - Horneber - who make custom brass. They let me know that they were doing a run of 275Rigby at the start of the year. I tried to buy 200, but it seems they were not interested in small orders. Be aware of RWS brass in 7x57, it has different dimensions to SAMMI spec produced by US manufacturers or Norma, and may lead to higher pressures than expected in your rifle.

And RWS 7x57 brass didn't fit into my RCBS shell holder.

I'd be interested in hearing what you find out, as well. I've had a wild-cat idea in mind for a while now and would like some properly head-stamped brass to go along with the rifle.
Sounds as though RWS brass is CIP spec'd, which makes sense, but still nice to know.

I emailed Z-H a few days ago, but haven' heard anything back. I checked out Horneber, but it looks like they start with runs of 5000 pieces. I will post as soon as I get a response.

The only company that responded was Lapua. They said that they would do this type of work, but they are so busy at the moment that it would not be possible in the foreseeable future. They did not give me a lead time or quote.
