We finally got our crop in last night. I'm sure we've got around 5 inches so far this spring too. Been a battle to get the crop in. Got the tractor and air seeder stuck three times and the sprayer once.

I've got a rain guage (in northern New Mexico - supposedly NOT the desert) that hasn't seen 5" in the last THREE years combined!

JOC was right. The 270 Winchester on a Model 70 is a great combination as is the 30/06 and 375 H&H

Stopped in Midland TX last year on my trip to NM for an elk hunt. Stopped at a liquor store and had Rebecca Creek for the first time. I bought a fifth and we drank some while skinning and quartering my partners 310 inch 5x5. It was really good, sure wish I could find some in MS.
