"Twins" They're all I need, but they'd be lonely in the safe without friends.
I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!

Got a new Tikka SS Syn 223 out in the garage trying to figure out how to get it in my man cave where it will be safe... LOL ! My wife has been working weekends for the past year. I can only get to my gunsmith on Saturdays. Problem solved...

Without going into details, I pretty well have everything covered for NA, including big bears and two-legged varmints.
Ditto....... plus a couple for Africa and then some.

Working on my "Final Five". The .22, .243, .270 and .375 slots are locked in. Still sorting out the .30 caliber candidates. Have already started "gifting" the extras to the grand kids. No need for them to wait for me to kick the bucket to start using and enjoying them.

Ahh this is bad it shows how severe my affliction is becoming.
Sorted by diameter of bore:
A circa 1968 Brno in 222, on indefinite loan from my brother who cruelly will not sell this little tack driver to me but lets me use it for as long as I want.
A near perfect mid 90's era Model 70 Featherweight Classic in 6.5x55.
Belgian Browning Safari in 3006, reblued, with a McMillan stock. In truth this is all I need.
Parker Hale 3006 with a detachable magazine.
Model 70 SS & synthetic in 338wm. This is a goto tack driving lucky rifle.
Zastavia M98 Model 70 in 9.3x62.
CZ 550 Magnum in 416 Rigby for a trip to Africa.

There is no way in hell I could run a 22 Hornet as my ONLY 22 centerfire.
Missing much for distance practice.

Turn #1 into a 9.3x62. Build a lightweight 22-250 off SA donor. Build one long range dedicated rig off a 7mm Remington Magnum with 9 twist barrel. Go shoot a lot:)
Mainly, go shoot a lot.

What else? No sense in pulling them all out, in that there are more than I need-some have overlap-but they keep me interested in fooling around. More and more a good one of these opens up opportunity that was previously off limits. Newest addition: Waiting for bullets and have yet to mount a scope. Nice looking smoke(less)pole! Really need to get myself one of those.

Fun to run a can, the ar-15 sounds about like a .22 lr, .308 just a hair louder, but subsonics are whisper quiet, .300 just a hair louder then thr .308. The can is heavy but built like a tank, but they do make them in titanium also. Took about six months for this can, just ordered one for my .22 rimfire last week.
