Looks like Kimber has recently released a couple of new fixed sight, blued 10mm's. One with rail and the other without.

With RIA's earlier 10mm addition, looks like the 10mm is on more solid footing than ever before.

The 10mm gaining in popularity is only a good thing in my book.

I really got the ball rolling on these.

You're welcome.

Kimber's ramped barrel is a nice feature on their 10's.

Agreed! That the RIA is also so equipped for under $700 is pretty cool, but if I had the coin I would be checking out these Kimber 10's for sure.

Agreed also that it is a VERY good thing to see the big 10 come roaring back from the brink of obsolescence. Might see some more good ammo options and components come down the pike soon. Like factory loaded 180 Gold Dots such as what I carry and shoot for my handloads.

Are they actually making any of them yet? I ordered a 35 Whelen the same day they announced them back in January of 2012 and they are telling me that I have a 50/50 chance of them making by the end of this year!

If it never shows up it'll most likely be a HUGE blessing.

I'll stick with my Para 16/40 switch barrel. Seventeen rounds of 10 mm or 40 S&W that both feed dead reliably from the same magazines.

Yup, once upon a time 40S&W was plentiful and as cheap as 9mm. Why so few 1911's in 40 S&W? Then get a 10mm barrel.

Those black rubber grips don't help. The night sites are a plus.

On top is Kimber 9mm I once owned, never did get into IDPA so down the road it went. Below is my Colt 10mm.
