It surprises me not that some d!ck weasel gave the order, but I am floored those sackless coksuckers actually put the cuffs on.

Some actually believe cops will refuse to seize guns and shoot citizens who will not comply. depends where you live.....wouldnt have happened here but then again both the sheriff and city police chief were in the first gulf war....if you think NYC police officer represent the normal nation wide you must think NYC citizens represent everyone nation wide aswell....

Damn, I wish when 2200 came around we could lay our rifles down and take a nap when I was in the Delta. We ask our sailors and marines to fight 24/7, seems like we could be able to honor them in the same.

I'd have been suspended or fired. No way I could follow that order. Even here in Ca we usually don't interrupt memorial services to enforce some BS code

The article I posted said the cops were running them out/arresting then because they didn't leave at 10:00 when the park closed.
It's a BS infraction.

It's a BS infraction. Shameful. It would have been more appropriate to keep the park open till the last veteran is served. I'd have been inclined to send out for coffee for them, rather than arrest them. There is no way to put "pretty" on that.
