Good morning wankers of the BTE.

The pic of the jeep posted earlier is the reason I dont like American Made automobiles...bought a Jeep Cherokee in 1989...reminds me of the one in the pic, though mine didnt seem to be that high of quality control....

Poobah, first thing about Detroit iron is you get to fix it. That's given. How you fix it leads to NASCAR, Ulimited 1/4 milers 'n other chitt.

Now for the record I'm of the Grand Prix persuasion myself, but from personal experience I can tell this about '89 Jeeps. Pitch the straight 6 and put a 390 V8 mill under the hood. Best boat ramp toy in the world. Low/Low, no gas required to pull a 35' deep Vee ocean racer, or even one of those gay catamarans. Plus, you can light up 4 wheels at the same time. In second gear.

T.O.

Back in 1989 they sold me a 1989 Jeep Cherokee. 70K " Bumper to Bumper" warranty.. Apparently all the schitt that went wrong in the first 16K miles wasnt between the bumpers anywahere, cause it wasnt covered mad

Driving Nissans ever since and looking at another one of those. Also have had Toyotas and good luck with them as well.

Is that one of the fords that had the slave cylinder power steering system where Ford put the cylinder in front of the axle?

I think my f100 4x4 was a 1975 and it was a beast! unfortunatley everyone hit a stump with the cylinders and you could not find them. Miss the truck, but not the crappy steering...

Other than that, How was the show Mrs. Lincoln?

Yikes. Well I've never driven a Chrysler Product and never will. Regardless, that was bullshit on their part about not honoring the bumper to bumper..
