I've got a 336 35Rem that I might sell. I want to be fair on price. This rifle is clean. The wood is real good and blue is about 98%. The receiver is typical Marlin with all their machine lines. This has the brass trigger and it does't have the new side slide transfer safty. It has weaver base and still has the factory sites on it. I mounted a T/C 1.5x5 scope which is short and fast. Any input. Thanks Ken

$250 to $300. Used TC scopes aren't worth much.

It may not be a true representation (possibility just luck on my part), but I picked-up one of these with the crossbolt safety in very good condition (a couple of minor scratches on the stock), out of a pawn shop, about 6 months ago for $175.
They were asking $280, I offered $160, he countered with $175 out the door. While completing paperwork, he said it had been in the shop for about a year, "didn't think it was ever gonna sell".

It depends on which model 336 . I only have the early 336SC models and they bring a bit more on the market. The 35 REM ya either love it or never had one,so many guys just had the 3030 so alot depends what part of the country your from.I paid $225.00 for my 336SC in 35 a few yrs back and smiled the whole time, picked up a 3030 SC for $180.00 wasn't nearly as nice but cleaned up well--Jim--(260Remguys prices are about right.)

Here in Fort Worth, Texas, pawnshops can't keep good used lever-actions on the shelves.

Last one I even saw was a hardwood-stocked Marlin 30-30 that they were asking $250 for. A couple of years ago, it probably would've been $150. I don't know what's changed, but at least around here, demand has gone up dramatically.

So I guess prices are pretty elastic, depending on location and timing.
