I didn't hear about the verdict until late yesterday eve. I don't consider myself paranoid but it occurred that tools out of reach serve small purpose. Thus one with a large hole in the pipe and another I characterize as a compulsive talker got dusted off.

We will see what we see. As I recall the burning of LA did not begin immediately after Mr King's beating made the news. It's summer though and folks are on edge for many reasons.

I read where some of Riot Central's (Oakland, CA) finer folks celebrated by torching a police car.

In retrospect, they probably weren't celebrating. But in some places like Oakland, actions like those occur for both happiness and anger, so sometimes it's hard to tell.
