I use 51 gr. r-22 with 120 nosler bt, with great success on deer, use norma and lapua brass pretty hot so adjust to your rifle.

Thanks.
I was wary of extrapolating data from one bullet manufacturer to another but took a walk on the wild side and used my data from the nbt 120's for the smk's, and it performed nicely.

6.5x55 is pretty forgiving and much of the data is under powered because of the old actions.

With the fast twist Swede in a modern action, I like 140's more than 120's. They can be pushed almost as fast and are better down range.
My current best group with a new Shilen/FN Mauser build is with the 139 gr. Scenar, using Lapua brass and Fed 210's.

Thanks Dirtfarmer.
I have some 3x's in 140 that I'll try.
