Ingwe, I may well make it out your way next year. If it firms up, I'll get a hold of you. And thanks for the invite!
elkhunternm, Well, it ain't as good as chasin' tail, but it is a heap of fun! Being a history major and having read lots on WW2 and Patton, delving into WW2 era tanks if just all kinds of fun. And since it's a MMO online game, people from all countries play, which makes it interesting! Saw the game advertised on the Military Channel and gave it a try and have been hooked ever since.
Glad to see that all my amigo's here appear to be doing ok!

I like tanks. They are big targets.
I am..........disturbed.

Like saying "my cock is xxxxx" in a convo about tires.
I happened upon (ever notice when you are typing on the BTE, that you hesitate to use the words.."came across" when not addressing something female?) this oldie from BGG. It just seemed to fit in with Stanley, 12", greenchains and slut talk.

I'm looking for some guidance. Among other things, they work best when "plugged in" Best, GWB

You [bleep]
I got a new trailer. yay
Wife went and picked it up a couple days ago while visiting friends. Dude said on the phone the brakes worked. Wife said on the way home the brakes worked. I take it for a spin last night, no [bleep] brakes. hmmmm
Crawl under there today and of the 4 wheels, only one even has the [bleep] wires hooked up. So I need to first check to see if the pieces of schit work, then rewire the bitch.
Question is, can I just hook up 12 volts to the wires and see if they grab? Or is it more involved than that. Guess the most prudent thing would be to pull all the wheels and check the condition of the drums and pads anyways.
Next question. If the 12 volt thing is kosher, then needs it be a battery, or would a battery charger suffice? It would be easier than yanking a battery out of something.

check the condition of the drums and pads. Drums and SHOEs is the correct term. Bleeders use pads.

They should work if you hook up a battery or any 12 volt power source.

BGG,
Since this is coming from a know-nuthin Texican.........
If it was me, and I wanted to put my trust in it, I'd pull the wheels, tires and hubs, check to see whether the spindles are good, and whether the bearings need packing I'd check the brake pads and drums. Most likely you'll only have brakes on one axle.
From my experience, electrical devices work best when there is a circuit. If you have an meter you can check for continuity and a circuit.
I'd bet you could take and but spliced some leads with aligator clips to your brake wires and attach to a battery. If you've a circuit, the brakes should actuate.
Best
