deflave; Thanks for putting up the video of the soothing sounds of gentle rain on nylon....
I absolutely loved your son's reaction, though the dog's was pretty priceless as well.
We hit a few good rains over the years in our old 3 man dome and some wind too in Cody one time.
Every time we'd stay dry one of us - wife or I - would look at the other and mutter something about being happy about spending the extra money on the tent we bought.
By the way, it's good to read your son is covering your 6 while you are cooking. Always maintain tactical awareness I say.....no wait that's not me, sorry.
On my regular 'puter now. Rain...yeah. My night job is putting panel and ceiling in a 16x20 shed for the Woman's Club. Aluminum over wood frame. The ceiling is about half finished with 6" T&G pine. Was there a few nights back for a phoucin' deluge, not to be confused with Delgue. The noise was awesome.
I'm deaf now. Phouc.

I am..........disturbed.
Concerning the difference between man and the jackass: some observers hold that there isn't any. But this wrongs the jackass. -Twain
A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…”

Nice to know dirty minds think alike....
It ain't what you don't know that makes you an idiot...it's what you know for certain, that just ain't so...
Most people don't want to believe the truth~they want the truth to be what they believe.
