This gun started as a Remington 700 CDL-SF in .257 Weatherby. Swapped out the factory fluted barrel after less than 20 rounds for a Brux number 3 with intermittent fluting - installed by Redneck (Lee Christianson). Lee also opened up the barrel channel a tad to fit the Brux and pillar bedded it. 26" barrel

McMillan Edge (Remington Classic pattern) painted by Eddie Fosnaugh. Karl Feldkamp fluted the bolt, cerakoted the flutes and added the larger bolt knob. Has Callahan lightweight firing pin and shroud. Jewell trigger tuned to 2 lbs. I haven't fired it, but have 3 other rifles built by Redneck and all shoot sub 1/4 moa. He left a few minor tooling/vice marks on the top of the barrel just forward of the lug, but they are very faint. Gun weighs 6 lbs 15 oz.

Will take $1675 shipped for the package. This would cost you $2500+ to build right now. If you want a factory x-mark trigger instead of the jewell, subtract $175. I have several that are brand new. Will ship by 2-3 day priority mail. I'm an FFL holder so no biggie if yours requires shipment from an FFL.

Thanks, Stoney, Steve and Eric for the kind words. Hard one to let go of but don't see it getting used now that I've bought Eric's NULA.

Damn Joe, that thing is awesome. I'm sure glad that I've got a lightweight custom Edge .257 Wby already or I'd have to pick that up. Once again, great stuff and great guy. Seller GTG!

Del, you know I'm a lefty.... but my son.. is righty... he came up to my office and promised me the world if I'd buy it for him...he has it's sisters.. in 6mm and 264 win mag... as they started out as CDL's ... I'd rather put my money in guns than the Banks... they don't pay interest anymore... but the 257 is really nice looking...
