Bama girls are more than welcome. My wife loves these guys. More than likely she won't make this trip though as she's not a big fan of camping.

I think we've pretty much settled on the second week of December 12th-14th. Will be the official dates but some of us might be there earlier than that.

I can still chuck a spear..... I am just now looking at this thread for the first time, what are the final dates? I have been wanting to hunt Eastern US Whitetails for some time now, have a Model 71 in 348 that needs to see some use and this sounds like just the place.
No promises yet, just hoping for a recap of the deal here.

I might be able to make that if you have room. Not going to pull my camp trailer that for, though. What are the sleeping arraingemnts being made? I will have to fly, which severly limits how much stuff I can bring along.
What kind of range or distance are the shots on deer taken in that area? I am wanting a good venue for packing my model 71 in 348 around, but if the shots are typically long like out here, my 257WBY would get the nod.
