The new Fridge Girl: There is definite potential there, if you parked a low chair in front of her you could get your knob polished and have a place to sit the television remote...with the added bonus of a hand moisturiser to keep the callouses from forming on the remote hand!

But in a salute to my grandfather: He lost his mind 95 years ago on this day near Beaurevoir, France. He was awarded the DSC for his actions that day. His friends called him "Square", as in square deal. His business when he wasn't whackin' Germans was owner and operator of an auto repair garage in Dover, TN.
Company K, 117th Infantry, AEF
He used to send my dad into the woods to grocery shop, usually with an order for 4-6 squirrel and a half dozen .22 shorts to do it with. If dad didn't bring back an aggregate of 6 squirrel and/or cartridges he got whacked. If any were shot anywhere other than the head, he got chewed out for wastin' meat. This was around the days of the Stock Market crash of '29 and years that followed. Ammo was expensive, so the story goes....
