having purchased a marlin in 375 just a few months ago, i have to say i like the rifle, but then i like 38.55 too.
it isn't a 38.55, cases are heavier among other things. It is kind of like a 30.30 to me with more punch.
the only issue is finding the brass, it can be obtained via the net, but it is neither cheap or really easy to get either.
I just cast some 250grain lyman pills i was going to put in a 375H&H, but put them in the 375 instead.
haven't shot them yet but i think they will work well.

375 win. Only because my dad has a beauty BB94 chambered for it..Rear peep and it shoots great.

I have a .375 and have no hesitation in saying the .356 is the heavy hitter. But I like that big old hole in the end of the barrel!

I'm a 375 fan and have been for years. Have two in Savage 99's. Ammo for all will be tough to find but I'm persistent. Mine shoot well.
