Got me a new pistola. Sweet shooter, but bits at both ends. Should probably knock her teeth out.

was following on a few leads today on a shooting we had the other night and found this band aided on a hood rat's door. I blame it on the goverment shutdown.

On a side note, the scope I bought off you for my boy's rifle that found a home on my AR, may indeed make it to it's intended destination on the little .243. Damned bolt hits the rubber on the eyepiece on the Conquest I had secondarily planned for it.

We've had a bersa for so long I can't remember. I've shot autos all of my life since old enough to shoot.

I have NEVER been bit by an auto, hammer or slide. I tend to look at how things move, and check them out vs my hide, before I go shoot em. Probably lucky too but I'll take it.

Same with scope checking, the only 2 times hit, bled once, I knew it woudl happen on both and had no choice and wanted to shoot, but its something I knew would happen.

I recall (now) the 75 I shot bit the [bleep] out my hand.

But, most autos bite my hand at least a smidge. Glocks, Berettas, some 1911's. The M&P doesn't, but it's plastic so I know BGG wouldn't want anything to do with that...

Thanks for the well wishes Rost. But I'm not going to tailer my hold to each different pistol I pick up. Most bite, some don't. not the end of the world. I too take the time to figure out how each gun goes bang. Generally the trigger comes back, the slide comes back REALLY fast, then the cycle repeats. Hopefully.

Love the IPA/gun/truck interior pic there Rancho. Will keep it in mind for future excursion tellings through pictures. Though it looks far too clean in there. WHere's the cocks?
