Ya, I shoulda been a guide in it, but didn't know how long this whole furlough thing was going to last. A friend here in the Bitterroot guides in it every year, then hunts for himself afterwards. I'm invited every year, it's just that I am always chasing bigger critters at the time. It's always a good time I hear. Free booze and prime rib apparently. I will try harder to make it next year.
Hunts, without my horses to do the dirty work for me, I like those legs attached so I can balance the damn things on my shoulder while hiking out. I'm a slow learner and still don't have a packframe.
