Awhile back a guy had one of the wood stocked ones for sale on Rimfire Central, I think it was called the Little Badger. It looked like a nice little combo, and he said it was accurate!!
It was a 22 lr./410.
It would be nice to hear some reports on them here in the Campfire!!

We looked at one a couple weeks ago at a gunshow, it would be fine for a pack/trapline gun, not sure about much more. I don't know if they are still available but I bought a Baikal 410/22 a couple years ago and was very surprised and impressed with the accuracy of the .22 with open sights and the 410 came with screw in chokes. It's a really neat squirrel gun and would be a lot of fun on rabbits too. I saw one in 410/22mag at the same show but it was priced higher than I wanted to pay. ($200 more than I gave for mine new!)

Just remembered, we saw a used Chiappa for sale at Greentop in Richmond VA. I think they had $175 on it, the front site, which I think was plastic, was broken.

I'm thinking ditch the sights all together and throw a burris fastfire on the furthest mount back.

So are all these fiber optic sights so popular now. One small clunk on a rock, and the fire goes out. shocked

That's a good idea, would make a neat little rig to keep handy in the truck.

Chiappa has come out with another one that is a 12 gauge over .22 and the 12 gauge barrel has nine pistol cartridge adapters which come with the gun.

I wish they would stick a 30-30 barrel under the 20 gauge on the new M6. That would be a killer bumming around rifle.

Stan, you can buy that set of pistol caliber inserts from X-Caliber to use in any 12 ga break action gun. I'm thinking X-Caliber also make some rifle cartridge inserts, but I may be thinking of someone else.

Picked it up today and initial thoughts are very positive. Seems like a heck of a nice little gun for $320.25 walking out the door. Was initially very dry and dirty, but seems to have cleaned up fine. Little oil has helped dramatically opening and closing, was initially crazy stiff. I had read somewhere that scope mounts came with it but that's not the case. Sights are metal...had seen some reviews saying they were plastic. Triggers are a little creepy but surprisingly light. I'm out of town visiting family now but should get to shoot it some Friday if the weather holds.

Stand by for further...

Sorry guys no reports today, it's crazy windy out today. Function tested fine and triggers are much better then expected though a little creepy. Accuracy reports when the wind dies down.

We had that wind in Missouri yesterday, broke telephone poles and such. I'll be very pleased to wait for calmer weather for accuracy testing.

My T/C Hawken fell over last season and the front fiber optic sight hit directly on a rock. Bent the steel but didn't harm the fiber optic at all. I straightened it up and it's fine.

I'm contemplating yanking the fiber out of this one. I find them a little distracting.

One thing I noticed tonight, the length of pull is really long. Just over 14" to the back and right under 15" to the front.
