A hearty congrats to Mini Flave, way to get it done!

I have the backstraps and one part of a hind quarter left to cut up this morning........then the last round of burger grinding. Needed a short break....shoulders feeling it!

Thanks for the sore cock Dave...

Frogman, I often wonder what is more work...getting an elk out of the back country or getting it cut up. Cutting it up is usually funner, because of the mass amounts of beer drank, but man it hurts my back and arms. I have two antelope to cut up today. I cut up my bull this year, but may take my cow to a processor here in a few days.

Yep.
Bone.
Steaks.
Roasts.
Make burger.
FoodSaver, FoodSaver and more Foodsaver.

Made some pepperoni on Thursday Night.
Was up at 12:30 am and 3:00, rotating racks etc.
Jerky this week.

Lots O' work, but I've never taken wild game or bird to someone else and I've never had any bad meat.
Funny how that seems to go.........

I rarely take anything to a processor these days either, but I am flying to Missoula on Thursday to hunt mulies. Not enough time to let her hang and cut her up, but will be gone too long to let her hang the whole time (at least not without checking on the hanging quarters, and I refuse to ask someone to do it for me). This will be the first time in years I have taken something to a processor. I will specifically ask if I am guaranteed my own meat back (and will just have to trust them).

Good luck to all hunters today, and Dave284...GFY. My cock is rubbed raw now.

First, find a suitable cage. Old Toyotas or new Dodges have been known to work.

Second, acquire appropriate bait. This works best...

Remove bait from container and allow to warm to room temperature.

Third, turn empty bait packaging inside out and, using various and sundry colors, draw intricate geometric designs on said container. This will keep the dangerous Caped Gruffalo distracted and absorbed for some time.

Fourth, keeping a steady supply of said bait on hand, proceed to train the mighty beast as you see fit.

PS Hirsute females may be substituted/added as bait...if legal in your AO.

Holy [bleep], I'm dying.

Me too, that was funny stuff right there.

Another funny would be a pic of the Poobah's expression if this wench had red hair. I wonder does Poobah have nightmares? Well?
