Actually, I doubt that many true libertarians voted for the libertarian candidate in Virginia.

It's just that the RNC hates the libertarian element in the GOP,..so whenever some GOP candidate loses anywhere that there's a libertarian candidate, the RNC is going to say that the libertarian vote cost him the election.

I don't buy that.

Neither the Democrats or the GOP own the libertarian vote.

Libertarians are their own people with their own political ideology,...and they're not going to vote for leftists and they're not going to vote for some big government, warmongering neocon.

The neocons have made the GOP a damaged brand.

That's the problem conservatives face.

You have no one in either party representing you.

That's not the fault of the libertarians.

They're doing what they can,...but the knothead element is still far too strong for them to make any headway.

And let me say this,..

Most libertarians are far to the right of mainstream Republicans,...and they're getting pretty pissed about the fact that you fuggin' Republicans keep allowing yourselves to be played for fools by the GOP.

Get with the program, dammit!

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time by the blood of patriots and tyrants.

There was no one for libertarians to vote for in the Virginia race.
