Took off a little early. Went out and shot the cull buck the manager wanted gone, then glassed up a herd of elk on the ridge while dragging it back to the road.
Hour later we were up on the ridge talking my co-worker through his jitters (first big game critter). He put a bullet into a spike, and then I picked the first to show broadside after his shot.
They had to go after his on the other side, I rode mine down the slope to get it to a truck. Had them both loaded and were into the beers at 5:30. How do I put that into the daily report?
I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

Details on the buck: I shot it. It didn't want to die. I shot it some more until it did.
Came home with two elk and one buck in the back of a truck. That's how you do it.
I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

Afternoon all.
It's lazy Friday. I rotated my diesel's tires and that's about it. Besides drinking beer since about 9 this morning...I may saddle up and go for a ride, but that sounds like work. Continuing to drink beer sounds better.
