Interesting experience with the VLD's... From what I've seen outta that 140, it typically goes in 3-4ish inches and then comes unhinged. Haven't seen an animal take more than ten steps after being hit with one. These have an initial muzzle velocity around 2870 IIRC outta my old man's 6.5-06, which could make a difference I suppose.
