Winds finally backed off late this afternoon, so I took our daughter to the gun club to get in a little practice for the upcoming deer season. She is shooting a Rem. Model 7 in 7mm-08 and using reduced loads with a Hornady 120 gr. bullet.

She had solid hits on her first two shots on steel at 100 yards (6" circle), then did this on her first shot at 200: (target was already up, so I put sticks in the holes that were there)

Hadn't tried the reduced loads at 200 before, so I had her hold 1/2 way up above the bullseye as I wasn't sure how much it would drop. Not too bad, really. I still want to keep her shots at 150 or less and prefer inside 100.
