Thanks guys.

I ain't had time to redd up the shop. Knew that would come up. It's on my list of schit to do. Used a big wrench to hold the ribs open whilst I conducted the autopsy and successfully kept from slicing off my fingers. Nice fat layer on the bastard.

He weren't no monster, but I'm happy with him.

You ought to see him dance around singing Mr. [bleep] Rogers and Bono on the prairie.

Thanks DH. Dave does have a talent with picture taking devices.

Nice buck BGG! Nothing better then MT mule deer.

The big boy gave us the slip today couldn't find the dirty [bleep]. All the deer he was with last night came out this morning but he was a no show, I guess they get big for a reason.

God I miss hunting the Hi-Line....

We got snow a foot deep in my muley haunts. My next time off is Thanksgiving. I'm hoping I can play with my toys that weekend.

Great deer BGG, must be nice to actually "hunt" somethin. All we do here is sit and watch a pile of corn. It is very productive, see LOT's of game but you know. Great job on you buck !!

You're doing it all wrong. Might as well be cooking the corn and making shine.

Been thinking about starting a side business making shine....

Local law enforcement really doesn't give a [bleep], they're overworked and undermanned.

Still investigating the logistics of making corn likker...

Nice buck, Gruff. Glad to see ya scored.

How about a little post mortem info on the 62 TSX? Been thinking of trying those in my .223.

Greek Dan, free advice.
Don't post plans for illegal schit on the internet.

Thanks for the kind words gentlefolk.

Buzzsaw, was talking about it today with Dave. Dunno if I could go back to hunting other areas after this general area.

Chell, still not in full rut here. This guy was with 2 smaller bucks and a couple does. Good luck on your a tag.

Mojo, just the 2nd deer that donated itself to science with this pill on my behalf. MV out of my rig is a little better than 3500. Last year I shot a whitetail hard angled away at 135 (I think), went in the shortribs, transversed the vitals, and punched the offside shoulder. Didn't exit but stopped just short of it after breaking that shoulder. This one exited at 426, though it was further back than I'd like to see. Dead's dead, but I doubt it would have passed though had it been a shoulder. But that's just a guess, as that isn't what happened.

Schit, that's right. I forgot you got that big bastard. grin Good luck with the buddy tag!

Forgot about the antelope last year w/ the ttsx too mojo. Same load at 300+, don't remember exactly, 335 or 350 or something. Facing me quartering slightly. Went in the chest, through the heart, and sheared through several ribs on it's long exit. Overall I'm impressed as hell with the performance.

Chainsaw's gonna be singing tomorrow. Logs to buck up into stove lengths for the boy to split.

Super clean, neat, and tidy shops make me nervous. I cut, weld, torch, grind, skin, cape, hammer, sing, and spit in mine.
