A = 4x40 Tasco with TV View or Wide View, duplex reticle. As normal with the Japan made Tasco - very clear. Very minor ring smudges (in paint) & tape residue - already cleaned off! Dark black gloss in color. $65 shipped.

These Japanese Tasco scopes were great values. I have several that I was going to replace with better scopes, but they just keep going, tough and clear. Good deal here for a low cost scope.

7mmStwer - Agree. My "up to 1000 yard" 7 Rem Mag hunting rifle wears one of these. Yes, I dial up.

If the quality of our budget to mid cost scopes ($65 to $500) were made as well as these, the only brand people would be buying is these.

I took the 3x leupie off my .308 this year and tried a 4-12x42 tasco just like #3 here. I worked with it at my range and was confident I had the right bdc dial and hit repeatedly at 100, 200 and 300.
Got a 286 yard shot at a mulie, got in the shooting sticks, turned the turret to 290 and dropped him in his tracks. Scope worked great.
