The band mill and some boards, this is not easy work and requires much beer. My fathers been talking about looking for one for a few years. He wants to reside the barns with hemlock from the farm and other projects. How did you choose that model, size, etc? I didn't know chit about bandmills, I hired this guy. But after a couple days I was impressed, it did a great job on some huge tulip trees, and was capable of 24 ft boards.Thay are not cheap to buy, but they can be had used as many people buy them and do like your father, then resell them. Yep, I hear you. I've seen some smaller models for a few grand. That machine looks like it cost a decent buck. Just thought you might have some basic info.
