Last several months Ross has been doing a lot of teasing/promising about a new recurve I think hes calling an Ambush? Sights and whisker biscuit big attractions for me. But website pushed back and pushed back, last I looked said "coming November 2013" any ideas?

I had to go find a picture to know what you were talking about. I don't see why it would be any benefit but I do see where it could be unbalanced and unwieldy. What's the draw to it for you. Lots of recurves you can put sights on and why would you need a whisker biscuit?

Andy Ross is a clown = he thinks he's a country music star nowadays!!

I seen his hunting show the other day using his Ambush recurve - I wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole!!

Almost forgot, he's selling his signature guitars and wine too............................

In all honesty, I think you would be a lot happier by picking a good ILF riser like one of these, depending on the length bow you wanted

http://www.lancasterarchery.com/spigarelli-explorer-23-recurve-riser.html

and a set of ILF limbs like these.

You could ad any kind of sight you wanted and have the option of several arrow rests a lot better than a whisker biscuit. Many of the rests would help with the arrow coming off the bow but not be nearly as clumsy as the wb.

An ILF rig like I posted would be a lot better balanced and offer a lot more options than that ambush bow.

Is this the same guy that has the "shoot through" recurve?

Does anyone else think that his shoot through recurve is a good idea? It seems like an unbalanced, gimmick of an abomination to me.

I mean why, When most modern recurves are cut past center anyway? Why build an unbalanced unwieldy riser to address an issue that doesn't exist?

His music sucks, his bows are way behind, and I bet his wine is the same stuff they put in a box. I would follow others advice and look else where. Unless you already bought his album and wine. Then go ahead. Good luck finding a recurve you like.

Well, with enough, even bad wine, the album and bow may not be so bad.

The latest thing for "musicians" is to have their own wine label. Most of the time they have absolutely nothing to do with the product except the label and the promotion.

As far as his archery show, and "new" recurve. Most people would be better off without both of them.

Even if the bow did work its ugly as hell. No thank you. Reminds me when I shot compound and bought one of those Oneida Strike Eagles. Uuuugh!
